What is Sustain for a Change?
Sustain for a change is A campaign made by us in order to promote sustainability! With a new sustainable event or action each week, we try to fulfill our vision of promoting sustainability and encourage you to include sustainable acts in your every-day life!!
Actions
Below you can see some of the actions we have done during this season.
How can anyone be sustainable with simple everyday actions?
Becoming sustainable starts with making small changes to your everyday actions. Here are some simple steps you can take to live a more sustainable lifestyle:

Minimize waste
Use reusable bags, water bottles, and coffee cups instead of single-use alternatives. Pack your lunches in reusable containers, avoid disposable utensils and straws, and compost food scraps to reduce the amount of waste you generate.

Save energy
Turn off lights, appliances, and electronics when not in use. Replace traditional incandescent light bulbs with energy-efficient LEDs, unplug chargers and electronics that are not in use, and consider using power strips to easily turn off multiple devices at once.

Buy local and organic
Support local farmers and businesses by purchasing locally grown or produced food and products. Look for organic, fair-trade, and sustainably sourced options to minimize your environmental impact and support ethical practices.

Choose sustainable materials
When buying clothing, choose items made from organic or sustainable fibers such as bamboo, hemp, or organic cotton. Avoid fast fashion and opt for durable, timeless pieces that will last longer.

Choose sustainable transportation
Whenever possible, opt for walking, cycling, or using public transportation instead of driving a car. If you need a car, consider carpooling or using ride-sharing services to reduce emissions. You can also explore electric or hybrid vehicle options.

Conserve water
Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or lathering your hands, fix any leaks in faucets or pipes, and consider installing water-efficient fixtures in your home. Additionally, be mindful of water usage when doing laundry or watering plants.
