From Monday 13 to Friday 17 February 2023, in order to respond to the urgent needs of the thousands of victims of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, we are collecting essentials for the earthquake victims.
Turkey hosts many of the most affected cities, where families who have already experienced many displacements due to the ongoing conflict are among those whose homes were destroyed by the earthquake victims. Problems occur due to the lack of adequate shelter, food and other basic items, as well as low temperatures.
The species we collected were:
Medical supplies (painkillers, anti-inflammatories, gauze, bandages, first aid boxes, physiological serums, etc.)
Masks, antiseptics, gloves
Winter clothing for children and adults (coats - jackets, raincoats, boots - boots, blouses, trousers, gloves, scarves, caps, socks)
Blankets, bedding
Baby food, baby food, baby milk and baby care products, rice flour, nappies, baby wipes, baby creams
Long-life foods (canned goods, cereals, nuts, etc.)
Personal hygiene products
Bottled water and juices
